MALTA CDC (CONTINUOUS DISCHARGE CERTIFICATE)

We provide MALTA CDC which requires the following

  • Copy of Data pages of a valid National Passport

  • Passport size Photograph with clear White Background

  • Medical Certificate from D.G Shipping approved Doctor

  • INDOS number (Indian National Database of Seafarers)

  • Age – Above 18 years

  • Basic STCW Safety Training Course

  • Elementary First Aid (EFA)

  • Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (PSSR)

  • Personal Survival Techniques (PST)

  • Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF)

  • Security Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties (STSDSD)

  • NOTE:  Seaman Book/CDC will be issue in 1 day time with Web Verification functional within 24 hour and this will be valid for 5 years.

Malta Flag State 

Malta Flag State Documentation for Merchant Mariners

As a merchant mariner from Malta, you are required to obtain certain flag state documentation in order to work onboard ships. These documents include:

  1. Melta Seafarer's Identification Document: This is a Melta-issued identification document that confirms the eligibility of a seafarer to work onboard Melta-flagged ships. It may also be referred to as a Melta CDC (Continuous Discharge Certificate) or Melta Seafarer's Book.
     

  2. STCW/BST (Basic Safety Training) Certificate: This includes training in Personal Survival Techniques (PST), Elementary First Aid (EFA), Fire Prevention & Fire Fighting (FPFF), and Personal Safety & Social Responsibilities (PSSR). These courses are typically mandatory for all seafarers to ensure their safety and well-being while at sea.
     

  3. Security Awareness Training: This training is required under the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code and covers topics such as threat assessment, security awareness, and response to security threats. It is mandatory for seafarers to have this training to enhance the security measures onboard ships.
     

  4. Medical Certificate: A valid medical certificate is required for seafarers to ensure that they are physically and mentally fit to work at sea. The medical certificate should be issued by an authorized medical practitioner and should comply with the requirements set by the Melta flag state.
     

  5. Seafarers with Designated Security Duties (SDSD): This training may be required for seafarers who are assigned designated security duties on board ships, as per the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code. It covers topics related to security responsibilities, emergency procedures, and threat response.
     

  6. For Malta CDC (Continuous Discharge Certificate), you will need to submit copies of the data pages of a valid National Passport, a passport-sized photograph with a clear white background, a medical certificate from a D.G. Shipping approved doctor, INDOS number (Indian National Database of Seafarers), and proof of completing the Basic STCW Safety Training Course, Elementary First Aid (EFA), Personal Safety and Social Responsibility (PSSR), Personal Survival Techniques (PST), Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting (FPFF), and Security Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties (STSDSD). The CDC/Seaman Book will typically be issued within 1 day with web verification functionality available within 24 hours, and it will be valid for 5 years.
